Than you're gonna love this game show based off of the same idea. Where else but Japan are you gonna find a TV show where an octopus is pitted up against a shrimp? They both enter the cube of death, just like in bug fights, and battle it out to the death. I should pitch a show to a producer for an American version. Alright, enough talk.
Not entirely sure on the species of octopus, but the shrimp featured in the battle was a peacock mantis shrimp, and before you think these things are just bitches and it was no match for an octopus, watch this video (and others) and witness the destruction these bastards can deal.
I definitely want more animal on animal action, and I won't hesitate to post more. So hopefully Japan will keep churning out the excellent TV programs.
